Ram Construction’s Commitment

At RAM Construction, we value honesty, hard work, and excellence. We give our all to every project, ensuring you receive the best product possible. We are communicative, astute listeners, and work together with our clients to deliver beautifully constructed homes, remodels, and small commercial spaces.

Roland Mason has nearly 35 years of construction experience right here in Crested Butte. Born and raised in CB, Roland intimately knows building in this place, for these conditions. As a family owned local business, we specialize in bringing you the best quality and craftsmanship.

The Mason Family Legacy

A large two-story house with a fireplace in the yard, surrounded by mountains and trees, with warm interior lights visible through the windows.

The Mason family has been building in Crested Butte for generations. Roland and Melissa’s home—shared with their children—was originally built by Gene Mason in 1973 as the place where he and Barbara raised their four sons. In 2019, Gene built it again, this time alongside his son Roland, after Roland and Melissa purchased the property and reimagined it as the home where they are raising their three daughters.

RAM Construction focuses primarily on new home builds, remodeling, and small commercial construction. From building the CB South General Store in the early 1990s to RAM’s construction of the RMBL wash house at Gothic in 2025, Roland and his team have had the opportunity to lend their expertise to the creation and recreation of homes, retreats, and businesses across our community.
